The number of actresses who received the best actress award twice: Isabelle Huppert, Helen Mirren, Barbara Hershey and Vanessa Redgrave. Only three actors have won the award twice: Marcello Mastroianni, Dean Stockwell and Jack Lemmon.

The number of awards handed out by the jury on the closing evening for the Official Selection: Palme d’or, Grand Prix, Jury Prize. best screenplay, best directors prize, best actress, best actor. Special juries award the Short Film Palme d’or and Camera d’or.
